she continues to do great!

hi everyone!
just wanted to post some up to date pictures!
So with Easter right around the corner we are getting ready for our neighborhood egg hunt! though we don't celebrate the easter bunny our kids do get to participate in egg hunts and do receive candy, but we try to limit it and they only get candy that has to do with the REAL meaning of Easter! so with that said, here are a few of Sarah and her sister filling some eggs with candy.
for our egg hunt...this year the kids and parents will receive a Resurrection cookie devotion to do as a family Saturday night...check it out here...

as you celebrate "Easter" remember to stay focused on the REAL meaning..
A Savior who loves YOU, who died for YOU who arose from the Dead for YOU
he loves YOU and is waiting for YOU to confess your sins, Admit you are a sinner in need of a Savior believe in him today and you will be given the GIFT of ETERNAL life!
Jesus paid the price so we wouldn't have to!

questions

in no order!

we had some "spring" like temps today so we headed outside with snow pants and sweatshirts!

we have our own little hill right in our own back yard that the kids LOVE it works well for us...during the summer it's perfect for our slip-n-slide and during winter..is GREAT for sledding!!

every first Saturday Lowes or Home Depot has free kids workshops. here we are at the first one in February...Sarah was being goofy!

we have really tried focusing on the girls writing and spelling their names..they love to do "homework!

every day that passes we really thank Jesus for touching our little girl! WE have been blessed! the girls find themselves talking about Jesus and Heaven and going there some day. Sarah has begun to ask questions about the day we found out she had a tumor in her head and how the doctor took it out. she asks all the time why she had Cancer. Questions i knew we would be answering sooner or later. We share what we know she will understand in ways she will understand. and there are questions she asks that we simply have to say," I don't know" she woners and voices why did Jesus not take her to heaven(though i want her to rejoice in the healing,,,,i get teary eyed hearing my 4 year old ask these kinds of question) i find myself looking at her and asking Jesus the same questions, why did you choose to heal her. i know God has an awesome plan, and i am so thankful beyond words that she has been healed, it just hurts to know that other mothers don't get to see their daughters or sons healing this side of heaven.

every night i thank the Lord for one more day with Sarah, and I thank him for his healing touch, i don't take one day for granted.

not sure where all that came from..just have a heart to share tonight.

i have been following a couple of families who have/had little girls with cancer. one lost the fight this side of heaven at the age of 4 and one fighting for her life. when i hear of families like these i can' help but get alump in my stomach, knowing how close we came to this ugly thing called cancer taking out daughters life as well.

will you please pray for these to families?

1. Janet Donovan whose daughter lost her fight a few months ago tomorrow. she was only 4years old

2. and 6 year old Kate, click here to read her story.

just some pictures

recently we got just a dusting of the white stuff! The girls were sooo excited about it they wanted to play outside immediately: Everything in me was trying to find reason why they shouldn't be allowed outside: 1. it wasn't even 8:00 a.m and 2. the temp was only 15 not calculating wind chill...but non of this seemed to matter to them : all they wanted to do was make snow angels and snow balls! so i gave in and they were soo happy!

Last Sunday I took three kids ( my triplets, other's like to call them)to the local winter festival

we've put up the tree and took our Christmas pictures....

With the little guy walking now, pictures are harder...but i found a little trick...
look at that smile!

and we will end with this one for now! Sarah is doing awesome and is due for another MRI anytime the doctors want to make that appointment =0)
Thank you for lifting her up and standing beside us. It's been 3 years since we heard those ugly words...but Sarah has fought hard and continues to do so. we still have at least 4 MRI's left and then she will be cleared by the doctor's standards..... in our minds she is healed by the Great Physician!

3 years ago today...

we were kissing our daughter and praying for God's protection over her as she headed to surgery!and this is her today! our spunkiest kid ever!! she has kicked cancers butt!! and we couldn't be more proud! we have begun to talk to Sarah about it as she begins to notice her scar! it takes me by surprise sometimes when just out of the blue she asks questions that every 4 year old does. "but why mommy" we just answer question on a 4 year old level and as soon as she asks and hears the answer is off and playing again! leaves me smiling and thanking Jesus again and again!

a few weeks ago, we got the girls hair cut and we donated their hair to "Locks-of-Love!

this is a picture that holds so much meaning...my daughter who was a cancer child, holding hair that will be donated to a "cancer" child!

we don't take any day for granted, But thank the Lord for giving us one more day! God made it VERY clear on November 28th 2007 at 4:30 p.m that he has a very special plan for Sarah and what the enemy meant for evil God meant for good!

we love you Sarah!

a few pictures to catch up

Sarah is doing so well! A few weeks ago a little girl who Sarah had been praying for got her Complete healing from childhood cancer and is now in the arms of Jesus. days like those it make my heart heavy. Questions begin to come forth as we explain that this little girl had cancer... but is now in Heaven. Sarah reacts in different ways depending on her mood...we went from her just asking kid questions like, Why did "e" go to see Jesus to,Will I go there because of my "boo-boo?"
we just take it day by day and rejoice for every day we have with our little girl who loves life!!
it's been way too long between this post and last, life has gotten really busy with these 5 blessings, so please forgive me =0)

Sarah loves to write and man oh man she can concentrate!

one day after a few days of rain,
the sun came out and we spent most of the day playing outside!

this picture takes us back to our summer vacation with my parents! we bought this HUGE water slide the previous summer but never used it, so we took it on vacation with us and had a last!!

We also went to Stony Brook, the kids, even Sarah loved the natural water slides!

Here she is getting ready to go down one...it took me a few times of the kids going down, with being comfortable about this whole scene =0)

We went to our first REAL beach..they loved it!
and we enjoyed out first paddle boat ride!!
We hit many playgrounds!
We also visited Grandma's A LOT this past summer... loved being around my mom!
and we enjoyed lots of "family time" around the fire with smore's
Sarah we love you and are so thankful for everyday we have with you.
